well child visits Swift Creek Pediatrics Richmond va Covid

It’s important that your child continues to receive the care he or she needs during this time. Your family’s safety is our priority, and we have taken steps to protect the health and safety of our patients and visitors in our clinic.

In order to maintain the health and safety of our patients and team, please read through the COVID-19 safety measures that we are taking in our office for all appointments. They are outlined below.

Thank you for understanding and adhering to these enhanced health and safety protocols. We are taking extra measures to ensure both your safety and the safety of our team. Our team is dedicated to providing the highest quality care in a safe and healthy environment while following all governor-mandated orders. With that being said, procedures will be a little different leading up to and during your appointment.

COVID-19 POLICY & PROCEDURES

We are doing everything we can to protect you and your family, as well as our staff and their families. As always, our staff will continue to follow the level of universal infection control precautions per OSHA and CDC guidelines. It is our priority that our practice remains a very safe space to continue to administer pediatric care. Please contact our office if you have any questions regarding our COVID-19 policy information

These measures have been instrumental in eliminating the wait room experience and thereby mitigating the chance of exposure.
We encourage you to continue complying with local jurisdiction and mandates, washing hands, wearing masks, and practicing physical distancing.

We are glad that we are able to continue to provide care via virtual visits as well as essential well-child care in a safe environment for our patients and team.

APPOINTMENT PROCEDURE

In an effort to minimize the number of people entering our office and maintaining social distancing protocols, we respectfully request that only ONE parent/guardian accompany your child to their visit if possible. If child care is available please leave other children at home.

We kindly ask that every person (above age 2) entering our office wear a mask. Your mask must be worn throughout your visit, to protect both yourself and anyone else at the location.  Please note that children under 2 should never be masked.

OUR NEW WAITING ROOM IS YOUR VEHICLE

In order to eliminate having too many patients in our waiting areas, we ask that you wait in your vehicle until the time of your scheduled appointment. At that time, we will have you call to check in with us. A team member will let you know when you may enter the office for your appointment.

It is also important that patients do not arrive late to their appointments in order to avoid any backup of patients in the office.
