All healthcare providers at Swift Creek Pediatrics feel very strongly that our patients should follow the vaccine schedule established by the Center of Disease Control (CDC) and adopted by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). This position is based on our interest in prioritizing the health and safety of our patients.

Effective January 1, 2025, our practice will not accept new families that do not vaccinate their children. Established patients that are behind on the State of Virginia required vaccines will be given sufficient notice and time to bring their children up to date. We require all patients to have their vaccines per the AAP and CDC immunization schedule to remain in the practice. We will work with you on the specific timeframe of administration.

Does your child need an appointment with a pediatrician? We offer two easy ways to schedule your appointments: Phone or Online. Please feel free to use whatever method is most convenient, however, any urgent requests should be made by phone.
